 
Ann gained over 15 years experience as a senior HR specialist including 5 years operating at international board level before moving into Management Consultancy.
In her roles with Mars, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Clairol and Procter & Gamble, Ann has developed and led critical organisational development and cultural change solutions. Her experience includes merger and acquisition integration and leading human resource activities and organisational development during an 18 month divestiture period. She has line experience gained within marketing and manufacturing along with co-leadership of a significant South African business operationally and through transition to a joint venture business model.
Recent projects have included:
- HR strategy development in a European pharmaceutical organisation: HR effectiveness study showed this team to have highest ratings across all measures within the organisation. Achieved their goal of being viewed as Strategic Business Partner.
- Development, introduction and supporting training of performance/career management process to support empowerment: Internal appointments increased from 21% to 79%, cross-functional / geographical moves quadrupled in 2 years attrition improved three-fold.
Ann’s interest in developing people to achieve their potential was aroused when at Mars where the organisation invested significant resources in both formal training and coaching development. This philosophy and passion has continued throughout her career whether in strategic HR roles or operational line management positions.
