Gene has been involved in executive development for more than twenty years in the capacity of coach, consultant, and workshop leader. The work she does is highly individualized to promote sustained behavioral change, but it is also aligned with the strategic goals of the company and the contribution to business results. Gene believes that coaching increases the effectiveness of the leader and ultimately the revenues of the business.
Her expertise in interpersonal behavior, an MBA in Marketing and knowledge of business process make her a valuable personal coach for senior managers and an excellent facilitator for developing, building and maintaining teams and understanding team dynamics. She works with a wide range of teams and managers from organization boards to operating teams, and from CEOs to managers.
She has created over forty different programs to meet the needs of her clients. She has coached and trained over 6,000 people representing at least twenty nationalities. A professional career in a multinational financial services corporation prepared her for the organizational work she finds so rewarding.
Significant executive coaching experience led Gene to co-create the two part leadership development program: Leading with Intention and Leading Change. Cornell University features her leadership training in the public management development offerings they sponsor.
Additionally, after all her work helping teams develop and coaching team leaders she is tackling improving the common everyday team meeting. Unproductive meetings seem to be the one last pocket in corporations where cost savings have not been addressed.Ý (25 million meetings happen every day in corporate America, and 50% of all meeting time is wasted.)Ý Gene is applying her substantial coaching skills to making team meetings productive, engaging and inspiring - time well spent. Now, there's a challenge!
