 
Steven Hart has been educating business people since 1986. Attuned to the globalizing landscape, Hart supports multi-national firms in cultivating both individual and organizational growth.
Domestically, Steven currently holds instructor faculty positions for Honda Motors, DuPont, Sungard, the IRS, American Express, Pitney Bowes, and FleetBoston/Bank of America. He has held faculty roles in firm-wide interventions and education efforts within such companies
as IBM, Coca-Cola, AT&T, American Express and General Motors. He serves on the faculty of the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, where he leads his own programs in Managing Organizational Culture and Writing Effectively. In 1986, Steven founded The Independent Consultants Consortium, a family of consulting professionals who are dedicated to quality business life and continue to be active today.
As a practitioner of intercultural teaching methods, and a student of national and classroom cultures, Steven is often requested to teach internationally. For DuPont do Brazil, he served for 18 months as a faculty consultant to senior management in São Paulo. He regularly teaches in the U.K., and has led programs in South Africa, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Singapore, India, South Korea, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
Drawing on his abiding interest in communications and psychology, and to broaden his organizational impact, Steven earned his master's degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute of Carpinteria, California and his undergraduate degree from Charter Oak College in Connecticut. He also attended Alberta College in Edmonton, Canada, and San Francisco State College, and also enjoyed two years of study in Germany and Saudi Arabia.
